Ninique of Ninique's Minidollz is a talented and helpful member of the dolling world, as many new dollers (and former new dollers!) well know. I took a bit out of her busy day to ask a bit about her site, what she loves best about being a doller, and the sort of things we always ask in interviews. Some of her answers may surprise you!
I was trying to
think of people I could interview who aren't always on the forefront
of dolling but who are always around, and Lucy was right away one of
the people that came to my mind. She's extremely funny, obsessed with
Gerard Way, and loves to make icons. I met her tooling around in the
graphics forum on TG, and we hit it off, since I too have a
fascination with making icons. She also dolls (occasionally! :o)) and
is a very friendly, bubbly person to converse with. I thought you'd
enjoy a little closer look:
Ever wanted to know a few things about that girl who manages Pixel Post from a to z? Well, you can find out a few fun facts about our very own Rainbowmonkee, Natalie, in this interview! Get to know our editor-in-chief a little bit better by reading this article in which Nat took a few minutes to answer a bunch of interesting questions!
The name CalliBerry has taken over the dolling world! From _NTD to The Gathering to Fairytopia and Individuality- this doller is like a wirl wind! I stole a few minutes of her time to find out how she manages all her community services!
I was lucky enough to interview the talented maker of Fragmented Melody, Princess of Wonderland - I was a fan of hers starting with her MDE England entry, and after perusing her site, I knew this was a doller I had to interview.
Dena of Dena's Dreams is an excellent and very friendly doller. But that's not why she's been drawn into the spotlight. The recently opened forum called 'The Catwalk' is getting her on the 'A-List'. So in this interview, I asked her some questions about her dolling history as well as get some information on her up-and-coming forum.
As the "one and only PCH man-whore," Brian of The Brizone has definitely been making a name for himself the dolling community. With unique dolls and a friendly personality, it's a wonder why some still haven't seen his work. I stole Brian away from every doller's favorite coffee house (the Pixelate Coffee House, of course) for an interview.
Well, as I was
looking for article topics or other ideas, I thought I should submit
an interview. But whom, I thought, should I talk to? All the
high-profile dollers have been interviewed about 78 times each, and I
didn't want to bother them anymore (plus most of you have already
read 77 of those interviews). I try to look for a person who's
relatively unknown in the dolling community, but whose shading style
is unique and who has lots of personality. Then, as I was talking to
my sister, Rev, I realized no one had probably ever interviewed her.
Knowing how much personality and quirkiness she has, I knew right
away that she would make people laugh with her answers. I've known
her for quite awhile now, and we've been sisters since November of
last year. So, without further adieu...
Angela of I(doll)ized is a talented doller with a big personality, even though she claims she is an introvert if you visit her site and read the text, you'll realise she is truely unique in this dolling world.
"Fair warning: I can be a bit snarky, and if not that, a bit long-winded XD"- Angela
DHF is very much a household name, as far as the dolling world is concerned. Run by doller Suzy and webmaster Ika, they are one of the first sites new dollers see. Their artwork is admired and their bases thoroughly used for thousands of dolls; DHF is perhaps a bench mark for all dollers.
As a member of staff on Fairytopia Claudia, or Monisse as she is called, is very well known for her fanfiction/anime obsession. But who am I to talk? All I seem to talk about is Doctor Who and David Tennant. Over the last year, I have gotten to know her extremely well, and I thought it would nice to splash her about the internet with an interview on here. YEY!
There is currently a little problem with spam in our mail box. Today I found an insane amount of spam emails (something like 120) and there was more in the junk mail folder from bots. Understandably all mail was deleted, so this means if you have emailed Pixel Post in the last few weeks, your email may not have been read so please re-send in applications etc. Thank you!
